



Halloween or All Hallows Eve as it was once known, is a holiday that is celebrated every year on October 31. Halloween began about 2,000 - 4,000 years ago. It is a combination of the Celtic, European, Catholic and Roman traditions, folklore and religion.
It was once said that Halloween was a Christian holiday, that was taken over by evil. Now a days Halloween is celebrated for the children. They dress up as ghoulish creatures, vampires, your everyday business man, princesses, and so on.
Halloween is believed to be the day when the veil between life and death is blurred and the spirits of the dead can walk the earth among the living. Also it is believed that a Witch's power (good or evil) is at its peak. Their powers can go beyond the norm.
Halloween has a something for everyone. Whether it be candy and treats, a religious celebration, a ghost story or two, or even a ritual or tradition your family and friends have. No matter what enjoy your day and night.
